QUEIMA DAS FACHAS DE CASTELO

Every September 7th, the Castro de Castelo is filled with fire and tradition with the burning of the "fachas", structures up to 9 meters made with dry branches. This celebration, of ancestral origin, is recognized as a Festival of Tourist Interest in Galicia and a Asset of Cultural Interest.

CALDO DE ÓSOS

In Taboada we have celebrated the Festa do Caldo de Ósos since 1987, a gastronomic exaltation dedicated to this dish. Made on the day of the pig slaughter with pig bones, potatoes, chickpeas, brains and stir-fry, it is an authentic delight that can only be tasted here.

FESTA DOS MILAGRES

The Festivities of Taboada are celebrated in August with activities for all audiences, highlighting the Youth Festival, the International Dance Festival and the traditional Festa do Caldo de Ósos.
